QUESTIONS ABOUT PEST CONTOL

IS PEST CONTROL SAFE

What if I’m pregnant, or have a young baby or have children or pets?

The simple answer is yes. We ensure we select formulations with the lowest toxicity available & apply these products where pests breed and live, not where you can come into contact with them.

We are a member of the Australian Environmental Pest Managers Association (AEPMA). As a member of AEPMA we adhere to a Code of Ethics, we are adequately insured for both professional indemnity and public liability and have access to all the latest technological developments through AEPMA.

WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO BEFORE A SERVICE CALL?

We recommend to clean floor areas, vacuum carpets and ensure that toys, clothing, boxes and clutter are away from skirting boards to allow easy access.

Any open food products need to be covered.

You do not need to move furniture out of the way.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I HAVE PEST CONTROL DONE?

We recommend that you have your treatment done at least every 12 months. This will ensure you don’t give pests a chance to breed, however, if you do notice an infestation contact us ASAP before it becomes a problem.

HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO STAY OUT OF THE HOUSE?

You will need to be out of the house while the treatment takes place. An average home takes about 60 minutes to treat with another 30 minutes drying time before entry. Sometimes if there is a severe infestation you may have to stay out of your house for a longer period of time. The technician will advise you if this is necessary or you can discuss this when you make a booking.

WHERE DO YOU TREAT FOR PESTS

This will depend on which pests need to be treated. We focus our treatments on the places where pests live and breed. Including such places as roof voids, under floors, external areas on and around the home, garages, sheds, pergolas, any structural areas, inside your home (skirtings, cornices, window & door frames)
